New Idria's Water

San Carlos Creek passes through the middle of the property and provides a riparian habitat for a variety of plants and animals. Some, such as the rare San Benito Evening Primrose and the California red-legged frog, are endangered species that may inhabit this zone. The stream also serves the area aquifer by providing ground water for several downstream homes.
